Politics? Not so much.
In polls, voters in Utah claim education is their #1 or #2 priority, depending on which year it is you ask them. It is interesting to me that, although people claim to care, 94% of the population in Jordan school district does not actually care enough to even bother voting to choose a school board member. Kinda sad.

Maybe instead of focusing so much on national politics (i.e. the presidential race), it would be better to focus locally. People often don't vote because they feel it doesn't makes a difference. Well, with 6% voter turnout, there is a pretty big opportunity to make a difference.
