Low-carbon Week

My training this week consisted almost entirely of commuting. In past years, the commute from South Mountain to Research Park was a significant portion of my training, but this year it has been less so because I often need to go back and forth between my main office in Research Park and my satellite office near the airport (this problem should be resolved by February).

Anyway, I rode both ways 4 days and rode the Suzuki the other, for a total of about 2 gallons of gas. Personally, between the bicycle and motorcycle, I haven't really "felt" gasoline prices much.

There have been various gimmicks proposed by each of the presidential candidates this year to seem like they are doing something about fuel prices.
