Bye-Bye Birdy

Rode Snowbird last week. I wasn't very fast. I felt OK, and didn't fade, just wasn't fast. My HR was wacky-low. On the 5th of 5 laps my chain broke half way up the climb. At that point I was in 6th. Blake Z was in 5th and too far ahead for me to catch him. I think I was closing, but looking at the finish times it is now easy to calculate I was not going to catch him.

Reed destroyed the Experts again, and Bob barely missed the win. Bp skipped.

Kim did Echo triathlon and did OK, but she wasn't really at her best either. Toni is out injured after a nasty crash due to a puncture on the road bike.

Traveled for work Mon, Tuesday, and Wed. Rode this AM up Suncrest. OK, but not great.

Time for regrouping. I'm skipping Jackson this Saturday and then we'll see. Hopefully be back in gear by Evanston. If not, I'll probably race it anyway and then call it a season. Its been a good one. I just wanted one more month out of it.
